Introduction to cone crusher

Working principle of cone crushers

When cone crushers work, its electric motor is driven to rotate by the eccentric bushing via the belt wheel, flexible coupling, transmission shaft and the cone device to circle around the fixed shaft. The crushing wall of cone crushers goes near or away from the roll surface of the adjusting sleeve. Materials in the crushing cavity are impacted, compressed and warped constantly, thus realizing the crushing process.

Spring cone crusher

The spring cone crusher as a traditional machine is also the first generation cone crusher with a wide range of application. The spring cone crusher owns many springs at its exterior with the purpose of protecting the crusher from damage when foreign matter that can't be crushed enters the crushing cavity.

Hydraulic cone crusher

The hydraulic cone crusher is transformed from the spring cone crusher by adopting the hydraulic device to replace the springs. When foreign matter passes, hydraulic cone crusher will start up automatically and once the matter is discharged, the cone will be reset automatically. The throat of the hydraulic cone crusher will be restored and goes on working more intelligently and automatically. Hydraulic cone crusher is more convenient for maintenance.

Application range of the cone crusher

The symons cone crusher can break minerals and stones with the crushing compressive strength of less than 250MPa. The symons cone crusher is applied to break hard and medium hard materials in the industrial departments of mining, metallurgy, construction materials and chemical engineering. The cone crusher is especially suitable for medium and fine crushing processes in the middle and small sized ore dressing plants. The symons cone crusher adopts the up pushing type structure of the jaw plate hanging on the shaft board, which makes it own features of high productivity, long service life of the toothed plate, low energy consumption and uniform product granularity. The cone crusher will gradually take place of the old type crusher.
